Will Messer

EFT Therapist and Supervisor in Training

Will has been practicing EFT since 2017 and has 13 years of experience as a therapist. He is so excited to be back in his home state of WV after a few years of living and practicing in Nashville, TN. His passion in cultivating deep connection and self awareness in his own life and the lives of others. He loves watching his couples become agents of healing in each other’s lives and loves helping his individual clients find healing in the therapy room. Will also loves supporting other therapist find their way in Emotionally Focused Therapy through EFT Supervision. Will credits the WV EFT community for helping him connect with the EFT model and helping him find his unique voice as a therapist. 


Education and Training: 

Will has his Bachelors from Marshall University and his Masters of Social Work from Asbury University. He is an ICEEFT Certified Emotionally Focused Couples Therapist, an ICEEFT Approved Supervisor in Training and a Certified Emotionally Focused Individual Therapist. Additionally he is a Level 2 Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapist as well as a certified Enneagram Coach and Trainer 


Practice Setting:

 Will started his solo private practice Hill and Hollow Counseling 2.5 years ago while in Nashville TN and is so excited to have moved his practice back to WV with him recently to serve the people of WV. Prior to his move to Nashville he practiced at KPCC Counseling for several years in Charleston, WV. 


More about Will:

Will is an avid nature lover and a big family man. When not practicing therapy you’re likely to find him outside with his family on some kind of an adventure. His other passion is helping bring childhood back to nature and serves on the board of his wife’s non-profit Wild and Wonderful Forest School.
